Buying a red light panel: which size fits you?
All five Helsi™ red light panels use 660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared. They differ in the area they cover, the number of LEDs and how you stand or hang them. These three questions help you choose.
Which area do you want to cover?
The size of the panel decides how much of the body sits in the light field at once. The Helsi™ Go (15 × 10 cm) and the Helsi™ Mini (27 × 23 cm) are made for the face and single areas of the body. The Helsi™ Plus (91 × 30 cm) covers half the body. The Helsi™ Pro (180 × 30 cm) and the Helsi™ Max (180 × 60 cm) are full-body panels, and the Max is twice as wide as the Pro.
How will you set the panel up?
The Helsi™ Go has a battery (2 hours of runtime) and a built-in fold-out stand, so you can use it anywhere. The Helsi™ Mini also stands on a built-in fold-out stand. The larger Plus, Pro and Max hang from the mounting set that comes with them or sit on a matching stand. Our stands collection shows which stand fits which panel.

Which Helsi™ red light panel is right for me?
That depends on the area you want to use it on: the Helsi™ Go suits travel and spot use, the Helsi™ Max large-area full-body use. The Mini, Plus and Pro models sit in between. There are also various stand options for versatile use.
How long does a session last?
Between 10 and 15 minutes is a common rule of thumb, depending on the device and the area you use it on.
What is the difference between red light and near-infrared light?
Red light (600–660 nm) is visible to the eye and acts rather close to the surface, while near-infrared light (800–850 nm) is invisible and penetrates deeper into the tissue. Helsi™ panels combine both wavelength ranges.
Do I have to wear safety goggles?
When looking directly towards the LEDs, we recommend using the safety goggles supplied.
Which red light panel suits a first purchase?
For the face and single areas of the body, the Helsi™ Mini with 60 LEDs is our best-selling model. If you want to use it on the go, take the Helsi™ Go with its battery. To cover larger areas, start with the Helsi™ Plus with 300 LEDs.
What is the difference between the Helsi™ Pro and the Helsi™ Max?
Both are 180 cm tall. The Helsi™ Pro is 30 cm wide with 600 LEDs, the Helsi™ Max is 60 cm wide with 1,200 LEDs. The Pro is the slimmer format for a wall mount or stand, the Max the widest red light panel in the range.
Do I need a stand for a red light panel?
The Helsi™ Go and Helsi™ Mini have a built-in fold-out stand. You can hang the Helsi™ Plus, Pro and Max from the mounting set that comes with them or put them on a matching stand. The stands are in the stands collection.
